Total Raised So Far

The module which reports the amount raised is mainly intended to be indicative and there are several things that it cannot keep track of, see below:

It only counts money we have recorded as received, so people who have pledged money or sent cheques that have not been received yet are not counted.
Where we have collected money on the street or in cash it is simply recorded as a single donation by the club to itself, so many cash donors are not recorded in the "number of donors" count.
It doesn't keep track of Gift Aid. Gift Aid will be added from time to time as a lump donation from HMRC, rather than being attributed to the donor.
It doesn't deal with donation matching schemes, so even if another donor has promised to match your donation and you pay online, your donation will show but the matched money will not. We will add the matched money from time to time so if there is a pound-for-pound match in place it doesn't follow that the total can be doubled.

When we know how much our target is - which will be a while yet - the module will show percentage completion to the target and a progress bar.
